Hi,
Hoping someone might be able to help me. I'm fairly new to Krita after it was recommended to me. I used it to create a file with many layers vector layers (word cloud type thing) and also file which contained an image and some vector layers of text to the side. Originally I downloaded Krita to my Surface Pro and created both pieces in Krita 4.2.7.1. I really like the platform so also wanted to download to my regular desktop so I can work on the files on a larger screen - however, when I open up the same two files, which look perfect on my surface pro - the vector layers are off and the text has overlapped, become distorted on the versions I am opening on the desktop (the Krita I downloaded today is Krita 4.2.8 - not sure if this is relevant). I'm not ready to merge all of the layers yet as I'm still tweaking the text and whilst I can continue to work on them on just my Surface, I was wondering why this has happened as I would like to work between my two machines going forward. I realise Krita is more for art then multiple vector layers but I liked that it has the functionality to add vector text layers. Thanks for any ideas. Shell |

Which versions of Windows are you using?
Can you post links to full screenshots of your two files, from both your Surface Pro and your desktop PC? Can you also provide a download link for both of your files so they can be examined? |

Hi,
Unfortunately due to the text on the vector layers I'm not able to upload or screenshot though I appreciate the reply. I'm using windows 10 on both devices. I have today updated the version on Krita on my Surface Pro to 4.2.8. and this hasn't affected the graphics at all on the pro so I think I am just going to accept that, for vector/text layers at least, I can work on only one device for the duration of the project and cannot switch between at the moment. Once the image is flattened (I retained original/backup copy of layered version) then it isn't an issue and the image is fine. Thank you. |

This problem/situation is limiting you though. I can understand that your work may be confidential but one possibility would be to make sample/test files using some random text and images that still illustrates the problem.
If you can find the time to do that, eventually, it could be helpful in understanding and perhaps fixing your problem. |

I'll certainly make the time to do as you suggest as it would be great to find out why it's happening.
Once I've done it I'll upload samples or links to them. Thank you |

Hi,
Please find link to dropbox with screenshot from surface pro (where doc was created and looks fine), screenshot from PC, and also the file itself. Hope this helps in solving the problem and thank you for looking into it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ba5ajazqea9e8dj/Shell.zip?dl=0 |
