i was working on a drawing that i had spent many many hours on that i was extremely proud of and i was almost done with. suddenly krita froze up and i thought it was gonna crash which is fine because i know it autosaves. however my entire computer froze up so i had to restart it. now the .kra image file for my drawing is completely corrupted and i cannot get anything out of it. I've tried opening it as a .zip and using a zip fixer but i still can't get anything. is there anything i can do or can anyone help me i'm gonna lose my mind im so mad

Likely the file is completely gone. We've put in an extra chance to make the file less likely to be gone in the last released version, but if you weren't running 4.2.8, your computer suddenly shutting down will have wiped everything you worked on. Within digital art circles it's usually recommended to have multiple backup files in case your computer does anything weird, and the only comfort I can give you that this kind of thing has happened to all digital artists at some point.
