Can anyone help me figure out how to take a photo selection and add it to a currant layer of a project that I am working on? Thanks. I'm a real green nube at this. Started art again at 59. Love Krita.

Layer->import->import new paint layer, then move to where you want the photo to be, then ctrl-e to merge down the photo with layer you want it to be part of.
