Krita is my main program for digital illustration. My OS is Manjaro KDE Plasma, with an Intel Core i7-7700 processor, integrated graphics.
I have a Dell monitor and a Wacom Cintiq 13 HD connected. The Cintiq screen is cloned from the Dell monitor. The problem is as follows: Is it possible to maintain individual color profiles for each monitor, in the configuration offered by Krita? I have verified that it can be done in a configuration of non-replicated screens, but for me it would be very important to be able to have both monitors with the correct profile, since sometimes I work on the belt, and sometimes I use it as a classic tablet, looking to the Dell monitor while drawing. If there is no color matching between the screens, my workflow is inconsistent. I have observed that Krita assigns the profile that appears as "Screen 1" to both screens. This screen does not match the screen marked as main in the Plasma configuration. In my case, it always refers to the Dell monitor. If the "Use the system monitor profile" option is checked, it confuses the profiles (assign the one from the Cintiq to the Dell and vice versa), so you have to configure them manually. The calibration of the monitors is done through DisplayCal. If the profile loader of this program is activated, the Dell profile is applied to the two monitors, but if everything is left to Colord, the profiles are loaded independently for each monitor, even with the display settings cloned. The problem appears with Krita, that, as I said, only accepts a profile in this configuration. Thanks in advance. |
