I'm new to Krita. I've been getting on alright. But lately, every time I open the program and begin to draw, the lines skip forward fast. I mean, I begin to move the pencil on my drawing pad, nothing appears, and a second later the line appears but jumps forward... I can't draw smoothly, and I have no control over the pen

Does anybody know what I mean? And what to do about it.
Thank you so much

Do you happen to own a wacom tablet? this is a known problem from wacom drivers (they even list it in their driver site). In tablet settings > stylus make sure "Double distance click" is set to "off".

If you are not using a wacom could you share what tablet model, what operating system version, and what krita version you are getting this behaviour?
