Hello. I have run into an issue with Krita early on using it where I pick a color on the color wheel and then the output does not correspond to what I picked, I tried uninstalling, then reinstalling, and also closing and restarting the program but it does not work. Any ideas what could be wrong?
I am using an XP-PEN Artist 12 display, but even if I use it on my regular PC monitor the results are the same. Picture of the problem linked here: https://puu.sh/F6w9b/a91cfe7ca2.png |

This has been seen before and I think it's related to a problem with your video drivers, not a krita fault.
In Settings -> Configure Krita -> Display group -> Canvas Acceleration tab, try changing the preferred renderer from Open GL to Angle or vice versa (restart krita after any changes) to see if that fixes the problem. If not, do Help -> Show system information, then paste the output here and someone may be able to offer further advice. |

Note that uninstalling and reinstalling Krita is only useful if you have bad download (and then it probably won't even start); otherwise you end up replacing the bytes with exactly the same collection of bytes. It's not a native Windows program that leaves its debris all over the place. If you have trouble with settings, it *might* help to rename your settings file to force Krita to create a new one from scratch.
