Everything was working properly but all of a sudden Pencil like structure of all the pencil brushes are gone. Some of them still have the grain like texture but they are not pencils anymore. I've been having this problem since about last month but when I close the application and restart it, they worked fine. But all of a sudden that way doesn't work anymore. I tried installing some other brush packs but all those new pencils brushes are also the same. I even tried reinstalling Krita but it's still the same. Please help me I really really need the pencil brushes

Do you mean the detailed texture of the painted stroke?

Why are they not 'pencils' anymore?

Is this every brush preset that has 'pencil' in its name?
What about other brush prestes that are not 'pencils?

Does this happen when you use the mouse, the stylus or both?

Can you post screenshots showing what you mean by this, for specific named 'pencil' brush presets?
