Hi! I hope I'm putting this in the right place. I can't seem to get pen pressure working in the latest version of Krita on my macbook (using a Huion tablet).
It works fine within the Huion pen pressure testing, but as soon as I switch to Krita it doesn't work. I tried adding the pen pressure icon to the toolbar, but that didn't change anything. I've tried rebooting and reinstalling the latest driver for my tablet, but so far nothing has helped. I saw somebody who said to go to Krita - Preferences - Tablet Settings - Tablet Tester, but Krita isn't recognizing the pressure sensitivity in my pen - it only shows X=, Y=, and B= in the window. Any ideas? I'm new to Krita, so I apologize if I'm overlooking something stupid. Thank you!! |

I was probably that somebody. Can you specify exactly which model of Huion tablet you're using, which model of macbook and which OS it's using?
There may be someone who has experience of either or both and who can help you with this. Adding the pen pressure icon to the toolbar won't do anything for you. It's just a convenient way of turning sensitivity to pen pressure on or off, for people who want to do that. If you turn it off, then krita will still register pen pressure readings in the tablet tester (assuming that the tablet, tablet driver and operating system are all working together properly) but will not use them, it will replace them with 100% pressure. |

Thank you so much for your response! I'm using a Huion H420 - probably worth noting that I also tried it with my brother's tablet (I think it's a 10moons tablet?) and got the same result. The laptop is a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013), using version 10.13.6 (macOS High Sierra).
