Zooming in causes the program to stutter and if I am too fast it freezes outright forcing me to wait for up to 15 seconds. I don't know what happens during that time but my cursor is forced back to the canvas each time I try to move it. It doesn't freeze quite as bad when I take it slower but it still stutters and eats my inputs so that when I move my pen right after the stutter the program will behave as if I am still pressing the Zoom button down. I often move my pen in anticipation to draw the next line. Only to Zoom in or out a few hundred percent and causing the program to freeze. I have to zoom very slowly which is frustrating.
I've tried to change the Renderer but nothing seems to work. I also looked at the task Manager to see if my PC simply cannot take the load but there is no sign that my PC is struggling. I really don't know what to do. According to the program the file that I am using is 257mb out of 4gb of allocated Memory. I am using a Huion H640P with current drivers (v14.8.90.1126) and the most Recent version of Krita My System has a Geforce 750 Ti, Intel I5-4460 3.2GHz and 8Gb of Ram. Please Help. |

I assume that you're using krita version 4.2.9 running on Windows 10?
This bug was reported: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=414576 and appears to have been fixed in the Stable/Plus build. Can you try this build from here: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krit ... ows_Build/ It's the same as the formal 4.2.9 release plus some proven bug fixes so you may as well get the full installation -setup.exe package. |

Small correction, current Krita Plus is not just bug fixes, 4.2 builds got replaced by a new 4.3 branch (only two automatic build targets possible currrently) that is former master before resource code was merged plus whatever new features accumulated since then. So technically it shouldn't be called "stable builds".
But, 4.3 was focusing on bug fixes anyway (and the remaining bulk was/is caused by the resource system itself, which has to wait til 5.0), and a good deal of the features were backported to 4.2 branch already anyway. |
