Bezier curve tool hidden features?

Tue Apr 21, 2020 1:17 pm
Hi guys.

My name is Widhi Muttaqien. I have authored Krita courses at Udemy and Skillshare. Currently I'm working on an update content that covers the vector tool in Krita. But I stumble a lot of questions when reading through the online docs. Are these new features only available in Krita 4.3.0? Or old features from the old obsolete version? Or is it because I don't know how to use them? Please advice! Currently I'm using version 4.2.9.

Here is the screenshot of the docs:

1. When you create a shape with the bezier tool, the color of the handles are red, not blue?
2. Can you really do this using the bezier curve tool? (not the edit shape tool). If yes, then how?
3. After editing you can continue adding points? How can we do this?
4. When using the Bezier curve tool, pressing Del does nothing. am I missing something?
5, Can you really do this using the Bezier curve tool?
6. I have no idea how to perform this. Any advice?

It seems this was all removed in 4.0 and noone noticed this was left behind in the manual. All of this has been shifted to the edit nodes tool.

If it's removed, it would be awesome if you could contribute by removing all the left-over parts of the manual. The link to the page is here: https://invent.kde.org/websites/docs-kr ... s/path.rst - you just need to log in using your KDE account, then press "Edit" that you see on this page I gave you a link to, then edit and proceed pressing all "OK" buttons you see. :) The whole trouble is to make sure that sentences make sense and that you remove all and only things that got removed from the tool itself.
