How do I select a part of an image on one layer and rotate without duplicating image that has been transformed? When I use the custom outline selection tool on a layer of my painting, I rotate it, but the rotation leaves behind the old image that I cannot erase or delete. How do I just rotate without leaving behind the duplicate of the old image on the layer?
I tried rotating the image and then erasing the duplicate image but I cannot erase the image. EDIT 1: I tried with new file and it works by cutting the image instead of creating a duplicate after rotation. This seems like a bug, can someone help me to resolve this bug? EDIT 2: I figured it out, there was a duplicate of the image accidentally on another layer that I had to track down and find. This was why I thought the selected image was not being rotated. |
