So I was working on an animation on krita, and tried to save my progress. Immediately, Krita crashed and every time I try to open the animation, this error pops up:
Could not open file: \\\C:\Users\shoko\Pictures\Animations\Close_Up_Meme.kra. Reason: Invalid file format. (Yes, I do animation memes. Just for practice though, and for the fun of it. Don't judge me.) Is there any way to fix the issue? The animation has taken 4 weeks so far and I really hope I don't have to restart it ![]() |

You really should keep backups of files that are important...
Please see this: https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... le-anymore And this, how to recover: https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html ... r-my-files Also note that it won't happen in 4.2.8, 4.2.9 or the newest 4.3.0 beta version since Krita now forces Windows do do its job properly -.- so please update asap. |
