The snap of Krita has some issues

Sat May 09, 2020 4:41 pm
The 4.2.9 snap is giving me two issues. I'm running Ubuntu 20.04.

There is only a low resolution version of the icon included in the snap. It looks terrible in comparison to the .deb version which is displaying properly.

I also can't figure out how to change the language from US English to UK English. This applies to both the .deb and snap versions. "Amercian English" is the only option and there's no way to select or install different languages. Ideally, it should just follow the language set by my system or alternatively a way to install alternative languages.

I don't know about the snap, but for the .deb the translations are separated into the "krita-l10n" package.
