I have been playing with Krita, and I love it! Anyways i started yesterday playing with animation, and i got all my frames kinda where I want them, the problem is that when i play, my animation lags. it doesn't load the entire frame, and two frames will be chopped together. I have the latest Krita, my computer is Mac air i got it in 2014, and still works great. I'm only playing with 6 frames in a 15 second timeline, screen size is the size of a phone screen should play at 720p. its a very simplified animation so it doesn't make sense it would have a hard time. any thoughts? I have a picture, but not sure how to add it to the forum.

I assume you have krita version 4.2.9?
If you manually select frames on the Timeline, do they display ok? If you 'scrub' along the Timeline, do you see any problems? Does the animation render out to .mp4 and does the .mp4 play ok? Can you post a fullscreen screenshot showing the Timeline, Layers and Animation dockers. The simplest way to provide screenshot images or videos is to post a link to Imgur or your Dropbox (or whatever you prefer to use). Can you do Help -> Show system information for bug reports and paste the output in a reply? |

Here is a link to a google Doc https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ShFmD2yfXufAYJYKBNU24LZyNaFrZbSWhg1liL0NECk/edit?usp=sharing
When I manually select frames they are fine. they do not look fine when I scrub i have a photo showing as to what happens when I press play or scrub. I have not made it into a mp4 yet, i need the ffmpeg thing, and I have not looked into that yet. |

Are you using krita version 4.2.9?
From the link you provided, I can see the type of effect you're having but your full screenshot is compressed into a small area on my screen and I can't download that image. If you're using Google then a Google Drive download link would be a better way of providing a large image for download and examination. If you can make a video screenshot then that would be even better. The output from the Help -> Show system information ... would be very useful for a krita developer who was familiar with Macs so maybe you could provide that soon. There are a small number of similar sounding reports from people with Macs and any further information about this would be helpful. |

Hey I learned some new things today. so here are some links
This one is the information requested https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oOLprI ... sp=sharing and this one is a video recording I didn't know if I should do anything, but I worked with the playback button and stuff. if anyone needs anymore specific actions I can record that as well. anything to get this working, because I love using Krita. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UDJtZV ... sp=sharing i hope the Links work as intended |
