Dear Krita Team,
I have had 2 screens that I can use simultaneously for some time now. With Krita I had dragged several dialogs, i.e. Animation, Brush Presets and Timeline, from the actual window over to the other screen and then saved this constellation. In the beginning all this worked really well and without any problems.
Today I wanted to continue working on my animation and opened Krita and I saw the timeline on my whole screen (so fullscreen). The first thing I tried was to close the timeline. But the close button on the top bar was not there.
The timeline would not close even after opening and closing Krita several times, so I installed the latest version of this program. Nothing. Everything was still the same.
The last thing I tried was to reset Krita's configuration via shortcut, which simply opened a new tab where everything was fine.
I opened Krita again to check if the whole thing really worked. This much I can say: it did not work.
How can I solve this problem now? Please help me! :'( :'( :'(

Many greetings, Iain Müller

I have a similar arrangement with many dockers on the second screen. This arrangement is saved as a named workspace. I've never had any problems with it though, for many different versions of krita.
Also, if I use a shortcut key to reset the configuration then it is fully reset after a Quit and restart.

What happens if you select the workspace you saved, from the drop down workspace chooser?
What happens if you select the Default workspace or any other workspace?

Which version of krita are you using and which operating system/version?
The latest formal version of krita is 4.3.0 and it's a good idea to use that if you're not already.

If you're using Windows 10, have you installed krita on the C: drive, as normal, or have you installed it in another place?
Do you have any kind of anti-virus or other security/sandbox software installed?
Are you the only user of that computer and is there only one user account set up on it?
