hello everyone, i've been using krita to make manga. is there a way to highlight a text so that its outline would be white? text color is black and i want it to have a white outline that will be visible in dark backgrounds

There's two options. One is to use layerstyle (right click), the other is to keep the text selected and switch the fore and background color so a stroke color is set (you can also do this by selecting the text with the shape selection tool(arrow) and then setting the stroke in the tool options). We don't have drawing order setup in Krita, so right now the stroke always draws on top of the fill.
