I just reinstalled Krita 4.2.8 on my formatted PC, but the main window is all black. I can still use the menu bar on the top, but when I try to start or open a new project, Krita crashes. However, it works fine when I go to "Configure Krita." I can click on the buttons and such, but because of the main window being black, nothing (visually, at least) changed. I've also tried the new 4.3.0, but the results were still the same. I'm working on updating my drivers, but I'm asking this here just in case it still doesn't work.
Picture of Krita crashing while trying to start a new project: "Krita could not initialize the OpenGL canvas: Failed to link shader: matrix_transform.vert Krita will disable OpenGL and close now." I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate (32 bit), and I use Intel graphics drivers. My processor is an Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G630 @ 2.70 GHz. I have 4 GB of RAM. If anyone can tell me what I can do to fix this problem, I'd be grateful. |

Well, you probably didn't install the right version of the graphics drivers. Apart from that, we do not support Windows 7 anymore, so you should update to Windows 10 or migrate to Linux.
