Rather than explain in gory detail the problem I am having, I'll provide images that show it. Basically, when I tilt my surface book 2 pen (which has both pressure and tilt support) using pencil 5 that by default detects it, the dot that corresponds to the tip of my pencil becomes slightly offset above my actual pen's tip, whereas in another application such as OneNote on Windows, this is not the case.
I have even tested this on my yoga book c930 on both OnteNote and the Windows version of Krita, and can confirm that the same problem off offset tilted tip is occurring. Krita on Surface Book 2 using pencil 5. (Note the offset tip that does not occur in the image below): https://preview.redd.it/fx30r0ymx5e51.j ... 7e36b47c0b OneNote on Surface Book 2. (The tip does not become offset when the pen is tilted in an app that will detect for it): https://preview.redd.it/uvuqe2wtx5e51.j ... ab5a4f6641 |

For this problem, you can try https://krita-artists.org/ where you may find people with experience of tilt sensing pens.
