I have 2 problems:
1: After using the canvas for awhile, Krita seems to freeze but some features are functional. To notice any changes I have to get close and reopen Krita. It's time consuming & distracting 2: when I open a new file, there's a weird thing where when I move my mouse slightly to another place, the window is transparent. When I do the same thing the window reappears (minus the top bar). This means that the window is having a seizure flashing effects when I move my mouse into the window. For some reason making a calligraphy mark on the animation canvas stops this distracting bug. Configuring Krita seems to stabilize things a bit. Advice on how to deal with these problems? |

What version of Krita are you using, and what operating system?

So... you're not replying, if I don't see a reply today, then I'll repost this topic. I get that you're busy but when are you gonna reply? |

Krita-artists.org is a lot faster paced than the kde forums are.
However, your problem mostly sounds like a graphics driver problem. You can try turning off graphics acceleration in settings->configure Krita->display, but you will lose speed and a different set of glitches comes up with regards to animation and zooming. I'd recommend seeing if you can update your graphics drivers or whether there is a particular configuration of those that could improve your situation. |

OMG! turning off graphics acceleration!? Why haven't I thought of that! I'll try your advice in a couple of hours and I'll see how it will go!

Hi, my guess is that he missed your message. I haven't seen or head about what you are experiencing, so my guess is you should make sure the drivers are correct for your setup, there is no compositor affecting krita openGL performance/rendering and also reset your krita configuration, probably there is something set incorrectly there.
https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html?highlight=reset%20configuration I may or may not reply to this topic quiclky, or even at all. so please be more patient on getting an asnwer.
