Good morning, So, I keep finding myself drawing on the wrong layer, and after being very careful it still happens and I thought there has to be a better way.

When animating there is absolutely next to zero visual feedback I'm on the right layer. Especially if I'm working far to the right. Here's a picture to illustrate what I mean:

I was wondering if there is a way to change the UI colors so maybe the selected layer in the palette was outlined bright blue, or in the future maybe highlight or underline the layer you are working on.

Also another thing that would be great is if your mousewheel could work in the timeline Palette.

With the 'krita neutral' theme, the active layer is a definite dark blue colour and a good contrast to any of the optional layer colour coding.
It's not as much of a contrast or as obvious with the darker themes.
The mousewheel does move the selected frame position in the Timeline docker, when the cursor in anywhere inside the docker, in my experience.

I was just about to edit, I meant scroll up and down. Just for convenience. But I see about left and right. It is highly good that the mousewheel scrolls the frame position, but also kind of a check-yourself moment because intuitively, the layer palette for some is always scrolled with the wheel. I know it's two different palettes. It would be cool if there was a very short key to scroll the layers. It might even have a good feel to alt-mousewheel to scroll.

I didn't even know Krita had themes. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the help. I'll go check it now.
