Hi everyone,
Is it possible to customize Krita splash screen? By reading some posts, it was possible to hide it in Configure Krita»General»Miscellaneous, but I cannot find this option anymore. |

The settings option dated back to the days when the splash would by default stay visible and show some useful links; the option did not hide the splash on startup, but only after startup was done.
But if you start Krita with the --nosplash commandline option, the splash screen won't be shown at all. |

Ok. Thank you very much for your reply Boudewijn.
I personally appreciate a lot the contribution that Tyson Tan is giving to the project. I'm grateful to him, and I usually don't care about the splash screen. I mean...it's just a detail, and it doesn't change anything to Krita features. But it just happens that I'm doing a series of timelapses with Krita for a public institution and sometimes it is a bit weird to have the splash screen in a clear "manga/anime" style. I think it could be handy to be able to customize it with something more "neutral". It's my opinion. I will launch the program with the --nosplash option. Thank you again, Best regards |
