Hi guys.

One of my student at Udemy experience strange behavior when using the reference image feature in Krita 4.3 and also 4.4. Somehow the image always looks overly bright. This does not happen in other imported images. Only on images imported as reference images. I've checked the document color settings and everything seems fine. it only uses 8 bit per channel. Not HDR color settings.

Does anyone have a clue why this could happen?
