Well, I was totally disappointed by Krita again. I installed the 4.4.0 and hoped that everything is OK. But it is not! I installed the Iforce 73 brushes. At 4.3 everything was installed properly and I was happy. In 4.4, however, the brushes were marked with a cross. So not integrated. Since I use this a lot, it was a disappointment. Because every time I get a new version. I have to get someone to set it up for me, I can't work with it. These brushes have been around for some time, nobody has revised them yet. I'm considering saying goodbye to Krita and going to another program. Unfortunately, this is not free, but offers quality goods.

The cross means that there is no brush tips that are associated with the brushes. That's a bundle-maker error, not Krita's. It might be that they were made for Krita 3 resource bundle and didn't include the brush tips that were available there by default; if that's the case, you should be able to get them to work just by enabling Krita 3 resource bundle.

I have most (if not all) of the iForce73 bundles and they are all made and packaged so that they use separate sets of brush tips that must be placed in the brushes folder as a separate and additional action to installing the bundles.
All of them work without Krita_3_Default_Resources being enabled. The installation of iForce73 bundles and brushes is often a confusing process. I have no problem with any of them after the update to 4.4.0. @michaelstolz: We've been through this before: viewtopic.php?f=139&t=153413 |
