Hello people!
I decided to make a post, as I'm unsure what happened. I updated Krita today to the newest version, 4.4.0. I'm using a Wacom Intuos Pro M tablet with a Pro Pen 2, and a Pro Pen 3D. I'm using Krita for more than a year now, so up to this point, everything was worked perfectly, or I managed to make it work. After updating Krita, I ran into a problem. Out of my two pens, my pro pen 3D is acting up. Given how this started after I updated Krita, I hope that somebody can give me some directions what settings could I use to remedy this, as the signs points towards that the new Krita update changed something regarding how it recognizes my pens. The problem itself: My pro pen 3d was always set up that the topmost button is double click, the button below that is right click, and the lone button closest to the tip (the default tumble button) is my color picker. Now what I realized after testing, that Krita only recognizes the default settings for this pen's buttons, which is that topmost button is right click, and the button below it is pan/scroll. Funnily enough, the 3rd button has no problems, as I customize it in the wacom control center, that's how Krita recognizes it. What I tired: Removing the pen, and then reassinging it to the tablet. Check if I can assign keyboard shortcuts to these buttons. Didn't work, Krita still recognizes these buttons with default settings. Checking tablet/wacom software updates. I was at latest, so couldn't update. Checking if my other pen works perfectly. It is, only the pro pen 3d is acting up. Edit: Forgot to add that all my settings and pens works outside of Krita as they should, everywhere else. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance! |

Hello!
So I'm going to make an update post, because there are some new things I realized. When I go into Krita, I realized that my button settings DO WORK even in Krita. The catch is, they just doesn't work when I'm on the canvas. They work anywhere else all around the program. This also happens for example if I bring up the brush carousel. If I'm operating within the limits of the carousel, everything works. As a test, I completely wiped my wacom driver today, and clean installed it. The problem persist. Also, I updated to the newest 4.4.1. version of Krita, unfortunately, my problem still persist. |
