Is this with a specific exr file, or all exr files? If it's a specific file, could you make a bug report and share the file?

It's just a ordinary exr file i rendered it in blender .saving it as OPENEXR and OpenEXR MultLayer .None of them can be opened.

Hm... I don't have problems opening exr files with 4.4.1 on Linux. Which OS are you using?

I've just rebooted to Windows and tried to open a bunch of exr files, and I didn't have any problems. I'm really puzzled now. What happens if you download the portable zip file version from https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krit ... ows_Build/, unpack to the desktop and test with that?

okay, that's illuminating. I didn't test on any other drive than C:\ and the unicode path might do something as well. If the file:/// before the actual location isn't just a conversion error in the dialog, it's probably the real reason, though.
Still weird that I don't get this... Could I ask you to make a report at https://bugs.kde.org (use report bug from the help menu) and add an example file and this screenshot as attachments? I'll try to look into it tomorrow morning. |

Okay, belay that bug report... It looks like the non-ascii characters in the path really are the problem, and that it's caused by an update in the openexr library that tried to enable utf-8 paths.

I've pushed a possible workaround:
https://invent.kde.org/graphics/krita/c ... 7f057fd702 I'll start a new windows stable build. When done, please test it: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krit ... Build/942/ |
