So not really sure how to explain it. But I used to be on Krita version 4.1 something and now updated to 4.4.1
Ever since I updated Ive had issues with doing lineart and using my brushes in general, they start making straight lines out of no where when Im drawing, and the lines are usually always towards the direction Im drawing. Also had another issue, my pen cant stroll no longer in the layers tab for some reason? Also was wondering what does the tiny little pencil icon on the brushes mean? All these issues happened as soon as i updated my krita. |

Which operating system and which graphics tablet (make and model) are you using?
Have you tried reinstalling your tablet driver or getting the latest version and installing that? Can you download the 4.3.0 'portable' package from here: https://download.kde.org/stable/krita/4 ... -4.3.0.zip (For Windows. Extract it and run the krita link file inside it.) or here: https://download.kde.org/stable/krita/4 ... 4.appimage (Appimage for Linux.) Then run it and see if that changes anything. This will not affect your existing installation or your settings or personal resources. The little pencil icon over the icon for a brush preset means that the brush preset has been altered in some way from its default settings. This can be reset in the Brush Editor and it will be reset when you restart krita. |

Windows 10, surface pro 6 Microsoft. No I haven’t but I don’t see why that would be the issue if krita was working fine just before I updated it.
That version you sent me still has same issues. How do I make sure my brushes stop being altered? Every time I use a brush that icon appears on it. Maybe that’s the issue I’ve been having for brush lines that keep happening?

It happens even when you change the Size, and those changes are removed when you open krita next time, but if you don't like this feature, you can turn it off in Brush Editor (F5) -> Temporarily Save Tweaks to Presets. Between 4.1.x and 4.4.1 there were two updates in Krita code (well, one big change was not our doing, it was within a library that Krita uses). If Krita 4.3.0 also doesn't work for you, please check those tips: https://docs.krita.org/en/contributors_ ... -solutions - switch Krita to Windows Ink and restart your PC and see if it got better. |
