Configuring start-up

Mon Nov 30, 2020 4:12 am
New to Krita, been using GIMP for too long... Running Ubuntu 18.04...

When Gimp starts up the "Rectangular Selection Tool" is the default... With Krita, it's a "Brush"... Any way to change the startup to be the Selection Tool? Yes, I know that <Ctrl -R> selects it, but...

TIA DK

No, right now, Krita won't remember the last used tool and you cannot set the tool that's set active on startup.

Thanks, I was afraid that was the case... I perused the manual and files and found nothing that looked changeable. Oh, well... 1st world problem...

Well... Krita is open source, so you could hack it in :-)
