Pen pressure not working at all

Wed Dec 23, 2020 3:25 pm
The pressure is working fine on the Adobe programs, but when I use Krita (and Drawpile, also), it is not. I had a laptop where everything worked perfectly right, and I don't record having this problem or making any change in the settings that could be the solution.
Does anyone know what could I do?
(PS: Apparently, changing from Wintab to Windows Ink makes not a single difference...)
(PS2: Forgot to say that the tablet tester registers the pressure, I think this is important)

Have you restarted your PC after switching to Windows Ink?

Didn't think it was necessary, as Krita just asks to restart the application, but I will try
Anyway, I just noticed that the pressure only influences the smoothness of the pen, but the size doesn't change. Tried the "Use pen pressure" activation in the toolbar, and this is the only thing that changed, apparently.
(PS: Tried restarting the PC but is still the same)

Are you using a brush that has Size changing with pressure? For example Basic Size or Basic Size Opacity are among them. Not every brush change size with pressure, it depends on the brush settings which you can change in the brush editor (F5).

Wow. so the major problem was the pen pressure activation button...
Well, thanks for the help, it is solved! Just gotta see if the same thing is happening with Drawpile...
