So I am using a very weird combination of software, I know - an app called EasyCanvas that allows you to use your ipad with windows as a drawing tablet, and Krita. The pressure sensitivity seems to be working fine with the windows ink option in the settings. However, it only works on every other stroke, which is very frustrating while drawing. I am thinking it is mis-registering when the apple stylus leaves the screen as a "mouseup" instead of a brush stroke, but I am unsure. Otherwise, it doesn't seem to work with wintab. So my question is, what in my settings can be changed to fix this so that it draws on every stroke like normal?

I'm getting the same problem, but I'm using Duet Display instead of Easy Canvas. I tried upgrading and downgrading krita and fiddled with every setting I could find and it doesn't seem to help. It's a real bummer because Krita seems to be one of the only free animation programs I can find that supports hand gestures properly.

I'm sorry, I really wouldn't know... I've tried the iPad with sidecar with a new mac, and even there things were pretty wobbly, like the pressure curve being all kinds of off -- and not just in Krita.
And since Krita actually doesn't really have any special code for interfacing with tablets anymore -- that's all in Qt -- there isn't much we could do in any case. It might be best to figure out whether you can report bugs for these apps and tell them to test their drivers with Krita as well as other software. |

Thank you for the info. I will contact Duet Display.

It might be useful to prepare a tablet log. Open the Log Docker (settings->dockers->log docker) and enable the tablet category. Press ctrl-shift-t and make a couple of strokes. The docker now should show every mouse and tablet event that arrives in Krita.

Here's the log, if its of any use to you. I did two horizontal lines. The first one appeared, but the second one didn't.
