Hi, i don't think these problems are bugs...
1. the 'v' shortcut is already use in krita to activate 'Line Tool' by default (in settings > configure Krita > canvas input settings > Tool invocation). Maybe you can choose another key or stay with 'b' (as it is for many other program like photoshop for example)
2. the 'alt' key is a system/os key that can cause problem to trigger weirdly actions in some case but if you want to use it like in photoshop, there is an option in 'settings > configure Krita > General > Tools' where you can 'switch Control/Alt Selection Modifiers' that better suits what you want i think.
