Hi,
I installed "DirectEraser" and "ThreeSlots" plugins, but there are nothing new in the shortcuts settings (i restarted krita) or I just don't know where to look. How can I start using them? |

Make sure you installed it this way:
- you used Krita 4.4.2 (it contains a fix for "shortcuts files" (action files) when importing) - Tools -> Python Plugin Importer -> the zip file (downloaded from the repository) (do it for both at once to not waste time) - restart Krita (in future versions, this step won't be needed (it's already fixed in dev versions), but for now it is) - go to Configure Krita -> Python Plugins, enable both plugins - restart Krita - both "Three Slots" and "Direct Eraser" shortcuts should be available in Keyboard Shortcuts -> Scripts. Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/5vz5ehc.png **Important note** I noticed that Three Slots plugin has the exact same shortcuts that Ten Brushes have. That means you need to change them, otherwise both Ten Brushes and Three Slots plugins won't work. (See on my screenshot, I changed the ones from Three Slots to ctrl+alt+[ etc.) Another note is that Direct Eraser plugin doesn't have any shortcuts assigned by default, so you need to assign some. Three Slots script works in a different way than Ten Brushes: you cannot assign brushes in a dialog. They are automatically assigned when you use the shortcuts. Direct Eraser, after testing, looks like not the thing you were looking for, unfortunately. It looks like what it does is "changes the tool to Freehand Brush Tool and change the eraser mode to the one you want" and it doesn't change the preset. Also either Direct Eraser or Three Slots broke manual setting of eraser mode, which I don't appreciate at all :/ Btw both Direct Eraser and Three Slots are user-made plugins, not something maintained by Krita team. |

Thanks for the explanation! It wasn't working because of my lo9wer version of Krita
It was three slots. After disabling it the bug with eraser mode disappeared. Btw, how to remove completely these plugins? I can uncheck it, but they will be still there in the folder and shortcuts settings (eg 3 slots) will be there, even if they are unchecked. |

Tbh, I would just go to the resources folder (Configure Krita -> Manage Resources -> Open Resource Folder) and remove them from pykrita/ and actions/ . For the bug in ThreeSlots - it would be good to report it to the creator, but I don't know who that is and I don't have a Github accunt. I will add a warning to the Resources page, though, when I'll have a moment to spare. |
