Wacom tablet middle mouse problem

Thu Feb 11, 2021 2:54 am
Cannot pan across the screen with middle mouse click with the Wacom tablet pen button. It has 2 side buttons and one of them is assigned to middle mouse click. When attempting to press it and drag across the tablet the 'grab' hand shows up but it cannot be moved around.
I have used this set up for Blender and the pens middle mouse works fine so I know its only Krita.

I have tried checking the option "use mouse events..." in the Krita tablet options and it made no difference.

The Wacom drivers are fully up to date as of today posting this and the issue has been persistent for the 3 weeks of using Krita.

Model: One by Wacom.

Thanks.

Krita 4.4.2 installed on Windows 10 Pro with Wacom Intuos Draw here:

If I set the front/lower stylus button to Middle-Click, it gives panning with no problem.
Have you set up separate profiles for All Others, Krita, Blender, etc? This often fixes some problems.

In the Pen and Windows Ink settings of Windows, there is an option, "Let me use my pen as a mouse in some desktop apps"
That is not enabled for me but maybe you can try it?

Also, you could try switching krita from Windows Ink to Wintab and then disable using Windows Ink in the Wacom configuration utility.

This doesn't seem to be a krita problem but a Windows/Wacom problem.
