radial design

Wed Feb 17, 2021 2:45 pm
I am attempting radial design in Krita. I have so many questions.

This has always bothered me... How do you scale something toward the center? I am trying to make circle selections. How can I click on the center of something and scale outward from there? It always scales from some like weird point that seems to move.

When using the vanishing point assistant, how can I snap the brush to the lines in the guide? for example when I make a vanishing point and then change the degrees to show where I want the lines, my brush wont snap to those lines.

How can I scale the assistant? For example, I have made an ellipse assistant. How can I scale that evenly to create a similar ellipse just smaller? The only way I can edit is to move the handles individually. Then I have to figit with them until it looks similar.

Can I use vectors with the assistant?

Hello, in transformations, if you use a selection, the default pivot point is the center of the selection. If you don't make a selection and press 'ctrl+t' an automatic selection is made with a box containing the pixels painted on the layer and the pivot point is the center of that box...

For snapping to assistant, when 'freehand brush tool' is selected, in the tool option docker or tool settings button, you have a checkbox 'snap to assistants' to activate it.

For the ellipse, use the 'concentric ellipse' assistant instead of ellipse one.
