Hi guys, my problem is just that, I try to use the concentric ellipse assistant and it won't work, whenever I place the stylus on my tablet the cursor gets stuck as I move my pencil and suddenly appears on another point of the ellipse, but it draws a straight line between where i first put my pencil and the current spot, the circle keeps getting drawn following the assistant but I have a horrible straight line, so basically I can't draw a full ellipse or circle, the problem appears again when I'm about to close the circle, so basically I have a badly drawn circle with two straight lines, I can't even start drawing the circle in parts because this problem always appears when i first start drawing the circle, I wish I could upload a picture but I don't know how to do it, thank you.

Which version (number) of krita are you using and which operating system?
Do you get the same problem if you draw with the mouse? For screenshots, you can post a link to an image hosting service such as Imgur or you can use any of the many file sharing servcies and websites. Make sure to have the Tool Options docker visible when making the screenshot. Do you have any problems when freehand painting with the stylus? Is the Concentric Ellipse the only assistant present at the time? |

I usually put the tools "brush smoothing" to none while using the assistants. Even then, you still need to sort of follow the outline or it will try to take the shortest route to the cursor.

With Snap to Assistants, I use Magnetism = 1,000 and Snap Single enabled. This locks the assistant curve and keeps the drawn line on it even if the cursor goes a long way off the locked assistant curve.
