undo button activates the pan tool

Wed Mar 17, 2021 2:18 am
hello! i have recently downloaded krita and i had a weird experience. i saw that the undo control that i've set (ctrl+z) is actually activating the pan tool. i made sure to check everything and configured my wacom tablet properly, but it still doesn't work. i did everything i could, i searched up tutorials and watched every video i could, but it just seems like nothing helps. if i could get some help fixing it, it would make my day. thanks!

Which version (number) of krita are you using and which operating system?

Is your Wacom tablet a drawing tablet or a combined display-drawing tablet? Which model is it?

Which tablet button or stylus button did you map to Ctrl+Z?
The front stylus button is the one that usually causes panning to happen.

In the Wacom config/setup utility, you can create a separate 'profile' for each application. If you haven't already done so, set one up for krita (while krita is running) and concentrate on making settings changes in that profile.

If you've already done that, delete that profile, restart your PC and then set up a new profile for krita.

Hey! I was having the same issue like this, I solved it using two steps:
1. Go to krita > Settings > Configure Krita > Change Tablet input API to Windows 8+ Pointer Input (Windows Ink) | And then restart krita
2. Open the wacom tablet utility > Mapping > enable Use Windows Ink

This worked for me. See if this helps! :)
