Hi!
In the manual, it says the Delete key will delete my current layer. (https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_man ... ayers.html) However, for me it clears my layer (like it always has in previous versions of Krita. If I search shortcuts, Delete SHOULD be Deleting Keyframes, and I find that Shift + Delete will delete my current layer, but there is no shortcut in the settings for clearing the layer (which I am currently doing with Delete, despite the docs saying this should remove the layer) 1. Are these typos/bugs I should report? 2. Is there a way to set a shortcut key to "Clear" the current layer (remove contents but leave layer, which for me currently is Delete key but seems unchangable)? Thanks! Oooh - I logged into the forum this morning to suggest a way to clear a layer without cutting it. Using the delete/backspace key worked perfectly. Please keep this feature.
Thanks, Mary. |

That's not what the manual says: there is no mention of the Delete key in the shortcuts list. |
