So my pen pressure for krita, even after turning pen pressure on from the settings, is still not working. I have looked at my driver and it is still receiving pressure normally, but krita is not. It was originally working about 2 weeks ago, but just stopped while I was in the middle of working. Any help?

That pen pressure enable/disable icon doesn't 'fix' anything, unless you'd accidentally turned pen pressure off by unknowingly hitting the keyboard shortcut for it but there isn't a default shortcut for it anyway.
Now that it's there on your Toolbar, make sure it doesn't have a little 'x' in its lower right corner, which indicates that pen pressure has been disabled.

Dealing with this problem may need some screenshots and driver utility screenshots, either from you are someone who tries to help.
Please go to https://krita-artists.org/ (sign up and sign in are needed) and start a New Topic in the Input Device Support category and explain the problem.
You can start by giving the following information:

Which version number of krita and which operating system are you using?
Which graphics tablet are you using?
What is happening that makes you think the pen pressure is not working?
Have you tried it with the Basic-2 Opacity or the Basic-5 Size brush preset?
What does the Tablet Tester tell you about pen pressure signals?
Are you using Wintab or Windows Ink and have you tried swapping between them?
Have you tried uninstalling the tablet driver and installing the latest driver for it?
Did you have a Windows update shortly before it stopped working?
