I just downloaded the latest Krita 5.0.0 Beta 5. I have most of my preferences, such as the various saved workspaces. However, all of my saved Pop-up Palettes are gone. How can I recover those saved Palettes, which I'm assuming are still available in a settings file?
Thanks! Gary |

The brush presets shown in the popup palette are determined by which tag you select in the popup palette and of course the tags you've made and the brush presets assigned to them.
There is a 'situation' with the new resources management database where the custrom tags from the 4.x versions are not preserved and so you won't be able to select them in the brush presets docker or the popup palette. In the Settings -> Manage Resources window of 5.0.0, there is an icon labelled 'Save Tags to Folder' but I don't know how this is supposed to work. In a while, somebody who does know about this may come along and give a better explanation. |

Thanks for your quick reply. All my other preferences are maintained in the upgrade, so I will just create a new brush collection and forget about trying to recover my old palette, although I can't quite remember all the brushes I had tagged.
