Crashing a lot lately.

Been using krita for over a year, and I'm currently on the most recent version available on Arch Linux. I can't pin down an exact cause for the crashes, the only common factor is having my pen on the canvas. But I can do the same things and have no crashes for hours.

If there's a log I can post to help diagnose what's happening here, let me know where it is. I tried the gdb thing on the krita wiki and it gave me nothing once krita had crashed. This has only been happening for the last month or so.

If you're using the arch build of Krita, it's most likely an arch problem -- some library got updated out of under the krita build or something like that. Plus, the arch version of Qt doesn't come with all our patches.

If you're using the appimage, then you need to test as a different user, with a clean config.

Huh, I see. Didn't expect Arch itself to be the cause. I'm currently using the normal Krita from the official repos, would you recommend trying the appimage until Krita is updated there? Could I copy my brush tips to it from my current install?
