Assume I loaded a picture with the dimensions 500 * 600 pixels.
I want to enlarge the canvas size of this picture to 900 * 2000 pixels without resizing the original picture.

How can I achieve this?

Ok, thank you.

Two more related questions:

- After enlarging the canvas the original image is always automatically placed in the center of new image.
Ok, I can change this manually.
But how can I define the upper left corner AS DEFAULT?

- The new background is transparent by default.
How can I define a pure non-transparent white as default new background?
