Downloaded Krita .dmg from KDE site & it goes through the motions of installing to my hard drive without issues.

When I try to launch the App it basically says it is damaged. "Mac launcher says "krita" is damaged move to trash."

I have tried a number of downloads & browsers but same problem.

Checked the Help Download page but doesn't speak in plain English so that wasn't much use to me.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction or know what the problem is???

Hello, could you please share some more details?

What krita version are you downloading?
Where is the url located at? You say from KDE, but krita is downloaded from krita.org
What macOS version are you using?
There is no need to copy the .app from dmg folder to Applications to get the app to run, can you run it from the dmg?

I tried downloading both the recent versions for Mac OS 10.13.6 from the downloads page at krita.org. 5.1.4 & 5.1.5 dmg.

SUCESS! I tried your suggestion opening from dmg & finally got it to launch!

Now it sits on the desktop... a bit afraid to move it to Applications in case it stops working!!!
