First of all thanks for the new release and for your hard work, Krita's team!
Here's a question about the Krita's color management... Through dispwin I've loaded and installed as default the profile of my monitor, calibrated and profiled with Argyll and a colorimeter. With Gimp the color management works perfectly, but Krita don't see my monitor profile at all and shows incorrect colors instead (the same as turning off the gimp's color management). I'm working under gnome with Krita 2.3 installed from the Kubuntu's backports repository (same result with Krita compiled by me from git with lcms1.) Could you help me? Thanks in advance and Happy New Year! |

If the color management dialog doesn't show an option to configure a monitor profile that means Krita uses the systems profile.
Hard to tell what's going wrong. Maybe the input file comes with a color profile that Krita doesn't like. Is there any debug output? |

Thanks for the suggestion, slangkamp, I've found the problem!
Basically, Krita didn't accept the embedded profile of the picture; I've assigned a new one and now Krita's color management works. Thanks again for the help! UPDATE: Today, after updating Mint I've tried again and the Krita's color management doesn't work anymore. I didn't update anything about kde/koffice/krita, so probably it's not related... Damn, what's wrong? |
