I am referring to Krita/Calligra. Please pastebin the output of the command "git branch" in the directory where the Krita sources are located.

While I can't speak for her, I seem to be having the same problem as valerievk; checking out the git branch as advised returns:
I should note that this has occurred both before and after I apllied Daveed's modified script to compiler.sh. Argh, it didn't save to the log... hold on. Alright, so apparently whatever is up it's making the script/Ubuntu completely hate kritaimage. And it generally seems very, very unhappy with almost everything else starting at about 37%. Obviously, there's this:
But there's also a ridiculous amount of [-Wunused-value], [-Wdeprecated-declarations], [Wunused-parameter], and even a couple [Wsign-compare] errors, which I don't recall ever seeing before while running this script. My terminal only goes up to 44% I'm afraid, but it starts with this:
I should note that I usually got at least some errors (mostly Wdeprecated-declarations) while compiling in the past, but this is a little ridiculous:
.... yeah, that's all of it (or at least all I could record). Sommat is rotten in Denmark, but I'm afraid I couldn't guess what. |

MShadowy: actually, I also found out recently that you can set the length of terminal output from preferences.
![]() And I still have the same problem. About git branch: unfortunately it doesn't say anything. The script downloads a .tar.gz file, which gets extracted into a calligra/ directory. - The output from the calligra/ or calligra/calligra-src is just "* master" - The output from calligra/calligra-build and calligra/calligrat-inst is "fatal: Not a git repository (or any parent up to mount parent )" There's probably no version number because compilation failed. |

The output of "git branch" looks fine. Unfortunately the make output you posted does not include the specific error.

In my case, the error is the same as with my previous compiles, as in:
Also, it now stops at the same point as it did with MShadowy, i.e. 49%, so he probably has the same error. I'm calling it: Krita lost its marbles. ![]() |

What I don't understand is this: the script is meant to use git master. In git master, the mapshape doesn't even exist anymore!

Eh?! Well... maybe that's part of the problem? Are we maybe using outdated scripts or outdated versions of git?
I'm using git version 1:1.7.9.5-1. |

I can verify that plugins/mapshape/MapTool.cpp does not exist in Calligra master.
Can someone go to ~/calligra/calligra-src/ and run this command, and paste the output here?

That is a very old commit... can you please run "git pull" in that same directory?

After git-pull, I'm still getting the same output for git log -n 1:
And the same error.
I guess Ubuntu is forcing me to use a too-old version of git? |

Could you paste the terminal output of doing "git pull --rebase; git status" ? Something is really wrong there since you're not getting any updates.

Okay, that doesn't seem too good... |

That is the expected output, although it is a little long (probably due to being a while since it was updated).
Does the build succeed now?

Hmm... nope, exact same error. Same git log -n 1 output. Am I even using the right script? Which is the one the rest of you are using?
