xserver-xorg-core is (as seems to me) fixed in Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot, but be careful, it's still only Beta2 and has some bugs itself.

Unfortunately I can't get the tablet to work with Krita on Oneiric. While other applications works fine.

Krita 2.3 and 2.3.83 (beta) don't draw anything with the tablet. Only when I tap on the tablet a point will be drawn. Drawing with the mouse works fine.

I have the xserver-xorg-wacom package installed but no ppa versions of qt4-x11 or xserver*.

Any hints?

[EDIT]

It seems to be a configuration problem. When I enable "use Hover Click" in the control tablet panel (kcm) I can paint while clicking on the pen button. Other programs don't show this behaviour but at least the tablet works.
