Deform Brush leaves white traces in 16-bit RGB mode. In 8-bit it's normal behavior: no traces, just deform.
Version: v2.3.84-725-gb7f79d3 (Format is: Version number - revisions since the version number - git hash) PS: In v2.3.84-527-gbd5afaf , same problem is present. |

This probably isn't it, but can you confirm if you have lcms2 installed (on Ubuntu 11.10 it's liblcms2-dev if you're installing from source).

Yes, lcms2 is installed... manually. I think it's better than lcms1, isn't it?

Yes. Apparently it's quite a bit faster and more stable. We relied on lcms1 mainly just because Ubuntu was being slow to include it in their repos.

Yep, it's better than lcms1.
Deform brush doesn't show any problems with 16-bit here, at least with the default settings. |

How to to reproduce the bug:
1 Create new document 16-bit mode, filled with gray (128) color. 2 Scrub with Deform Brush (default preset) in about 10-20 sec. There is what I see: .kra file: http://www.mediafire.com/?wba5j1c2cfzd1i5 |

Yeah, I'm getting it, too, both with opengl canvas on and off.
Using Kubuntu 11.10, 32 bit with fglrx. Updated trunk today |
