I've had these issues ongoing for quite some time whereby video has been tearing, window borders look weird when dragging, games have tearing issues and scan lines have appeared in firefox when using most distro's with KDE.

It seems to only affect KDE systems but I found a fix after tons of digging so I thought I'd share it.
