I had a project c++ developed and working on a arch 32 with a complex menu
so the file project.rc must be seen on execution Now I move to a arch 64 and I move also the project. Recompilation and installation was ok. When I start as normal program menus are ok, but when I try to debug inside kdevelop menus are missing. The problem is very old. In the past I solved the problem pointing directly to the file createGUI( "$HOME/projects/test/src/testui.rc" ); but clearly this is not the solution. I know that everything is related to KDEDIRS. Now, after installation KDEDIRS not exist. 'set |grep KDEDIRS' --> null output Why ? Depends on distribution ? What is the right time to set up ? Why this relation is missing if I create a new program from template ex: new--> kde --> graphical I never understood if this a bug or ....... |

Can you please clarify what you're trying to accomplish here? Is this a custom KXMLGUI application?
