I would like to ask you about installing Windows Themes and icons in KDE Plasma (OpenSuse Leap 42.1)
https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1013482 I have managed to extract both Windows Dartk and Light 9.9 Themes as well as Windows Icons folder. I have tried to put them in .icons, .themes folder but it simply does not work. The system does not see them. Except some Windows icons. Not all are replaced when chmging the Icon Theme. How can I properly (manually or automatically) install themes in KDE Plasma? Should it be any specific way dependent on the Distro or is it universal for all KDE Desktop? Thank you in advance. |

The KDE Frameworks 5 is following Freedesktop.org standards and specifications - XDG Base Directory Specification: https://specifications.freedesktop.org/ ... atest.html is telling:

There is also an option to import a color scheme ( Windows 10 Default.colors). The KDE is caching things - https://specifications.freedesktop.org/ ... atest.html:

But first someone need to wrap the 'Windows 10 Transformation Pack and Icons' as a look&feel package. (*1) https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/plasma-d ... 56198.html

As usual I remain bouche bée.
Thank you very much. You will not see me here for a long time. I will be very busy deciphering your guide and putting in practical effect. |
