I am making a cartoon. There are several base layers of colors and over this go various paint layers with more complex colors and paints using directories to save them all in and using inheritance on all kinds of levels.
Started a few weeks back and let it rest for a while. Now I want to continue, starting with the shoes. But the moment I wanted to paint the shoes... I could not figure out which layer is the layer that belongs to this shoe. It's been too long to recall.
I tried turning off (not showing) inheritance. Turned off layers, turned of directories, et cetera. Still I can not find which layer is holding the main paint for the shoes on which I want to continue painting new levels.
Is there a tool in KRITA that I can use to select a pixel on the screen, which will show me which layer the pixel I am pressing belongs too?
It would be so extreemly helpfull,... because if I cant figure this out, the only sollution I can think off is deleting all the paint work I have already done... and start all over again. But that will destroy many hours of work.
