Hello everyone, I am a professional digital artist, who is new to Krita and new to animation in general. I've hit my first stumbling block, which is the onion skin. I get how it works, but It's not working as how I expected. To add context to this situation, I provided a tutorial video I've been using.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48pwrr4gPOA So, at 15:15 of the video, Jesse J. Jones says that we can create a new frame by pressing the right key and then pressing the delete key. This can only be done with Auto Frame Mode on. Doing this also erases the art work on that frame. But I am assuming that, he is deleting the new frame first - to create a new frame - and then drawing on that frame. But, when I do this, it deletes my onion skins. Why is that? I am doing the same thing as him but I am getting a different result. He is able to keep his onion skins, and I am unable to. However... If I create a new frame by right clicking with my mouse button (right click, new frame), I am able to keep my onion skins. That said creating a new frame by right clicking is tedious. I would prefer to use the arrow key and delete button to save time. I need help. Please and thank you! |
